RAUTOR

Rautor is primarily a PC recording application. Rautor is already being used in Telcos and other corporations. The basic version is completely Open Source and free and can be found under Sourceforge.

There is also a full version of the software for corporate environments. Rautor can be used not only as a recording and auditing solution but also as a safety net for protection against malware or illegitimate use of the internet in corporate environments where KIDNS cannot be used. Rautor has three major recording modes of operation. They are all optional an configurable and they are:

1. It creates slides of the user’s screen periodically in .png format.
2. It can also scrape the screen of its contents for well behaved applications. These contents can be later used for tect searches from the viewer application
3. Keeps a full keyboard log.

For heightened security it can upload the files created to an external FTP server.

All of the above recordings can be viewed in video like form by the parent / guardian / administrator with the RautorViewer application. RautorViewer can be run from any Java enabled browser and needs no local installation whatsoever.

Rautor is fully configurable by the use of its helper application rrs.exe.
